Acupuncture
Acupuncture is another treatment method available to our equine patients.
Using "Traditional Chinese Medicine" concepts of energy flow, body balance and the origin of disease processes, our acupuncturist, Dr. Monika Calitri can effectively treat pain, organ dysfunction and other ailments. She makes use of dry needling, electroacupuncture, and aquapuncture to treat our patients.
Dr. Calitri is certified in veterinary acupuncture by Colorado State University and the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.
