Laboratory
Karen Tobey, LVT is director of laboratory services. She provides laboratory support for outpatient and hospitalized horses and for samples sent by local veterinarians. Procedures available in our laboratory include:
- Hematology (CBC)
- Serum Chemistry (electrolytes, organ function tests, muscle function)
- Lyme's Disease Test
- Urinalysis
- Fluid Analysis
- Cytology and Bacteriology
Karen coordinates shipment of samples for tests we don't perform onsite to other reference laboratories such as University of New Hampshire Diagnostic Laboratory and Cornell University Diagnostic Laboratory.
