The 3rd Annual Equine Practitioner's Winter Meeting was attended by over 70 veterinarians and over 20 exhibitors. In spite of threatening weather the hospital was filled with enthusiastic colleagues.
Dr. Jim Schumacher, a surgeon at the University of Tennessee, provided in-depth and practical state-of-the-art information on the nature of regional and joint diagnostic anesthesia, neurectomy for upper rear limb suspensory desmitis, wound care and skin grafting.
The wine and cheese reception followed the scientific program and allowed attendees to mingle and relax.
We look forward to the 4th Annual Equine Practitioner's Meeting during the winter of 2009.
