Equine Surgery

Our hospital has three surgeons available: owner, Dr. Mike Davis, staff surgeons, Dr. Andy Kaneps and Dr. Omar Maher. All surgeons are available for consultation by referring veterinarians and horse owners alike. They can discuss surgical options, what to expect before, during and after surgery and provide you additional information to make the best decision for your horse.

We have two modern operating theaters that include viewing areas where you may observe the surgical team in action. Padded induction and recovery stalls, along with the most modern veterinary anesthesia techniques, reduce stress on your horse during the procedure. There is always a surgeon and surgery team available for emergency procedures.
